Privacy Policy

Hoops Playbook. Last updated: October 25, 2026.

The short version

Hoops Playbook does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code that tracks you.

Where your plays live

Your plays, folders, teams, court templates and narration recordings are stored on your device. If you choose iCloud storage, they are stored in your own iCloud Drive, managed by Apple under your Apple ID. If you pick a shared folder in the Files app, they are stored in that folder, and anyone you have invited to it can see them. The developer cannot see or access any of this.

Microphone

The app asks for microphone access only when you record spoken narration for a play step. The recording is saved with that play, in the same place as the play itself. It is not sent to the developer or anyone else, except where you share the play yourself (for example, in a shared folder or an exported video).

Photos

The app can add an exported play video to your photo library when you tap Save to Photos. It adds only; it cannot read your photo library.

Sharing is your choice

When you send a play through Messages, export a video, or share a .playbook file, the content goes to the people and apps you choose using the standard iOS share features. The app itself makes no network connections to the developer or to any third-party service.

Third parties

None. The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services.

Children

Hoops Playbook is a tool for coaches and players. It does not collect any information from anyone, including children, and it has no accounts, chat or ads.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
